A State Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was published in September 1993,
evaluating a no-build, improve existing and southern bypass alternative for the US 17 east-west
corridor around the Town of Windsor. A State Supplemental DEIS and Re-Evaluation
(SDEIS) was published in March 1998, evaluating two northern bypass alternatives. This State
Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) documents the study leading to the selection of a
Preferred Corridor Location. The DEIS, prepared by others, is appended in this document in
Appendix D in its entirety and TGS Engineers makes no claim to its accuracy or completeness.
Comments on this Final EIS are due bv ^ and should be sent to Mr. Gregory J.
Thorpe, Ph.D. at the above address.
