Food and Cooking Collection
This digital collection includes food and cooking-related materials from the collections of the State Archives of North Carolina, beginning as part of the 2013 North Carolina Archives Week celebration. The theme for 2013 was “Home Grown! A Celebration of N.C. Food Culture and History.” The collection includes cookbooks, recipes, court transcripts, and trademark applications from the following collections:
- Lillian Dodd Collection (PC.150)
- Lucy Williams Polk Papers (PC.75)
- Secretary of State Records (MARS Id: 12.26 (Series)), including food-related trademark applications from 1910-1930.
- Supreme Court Records, Original Case File (MARS Id.: 69.2 (Series)), including selected court transcripts relating to moonshine cases.
