Congratulations!
Congratulations to Roger Bryan, who was
promoted on June 1, 2017, to the Western
Supervisor position for the Structural
Program. Roger has provided 18 years of
outstanding service to the Division as a
Structural Inspector in Western NC, covering
15 counties. He also has 15 years of previous
experience in the Structural Pest Control
Industry.
Best Wishes!
Many of you have known and worked with
Tinesha McNeil through the years. She started out
with the Structural Section over 15 years ago, and
has been promoted to Administrative Assistant. She
is still with the Division, but is no longer with the
Structural Pest Control Section. We appreciate all
that Tinesha has done with licensing, certification,
insurance, and exams, along with her excellent
customer service. We wish her all the best in her
new role.
Welcome!
We are pleased to welcome Nikki Mitchell to the Structural Pest Control and
Pesticides Division. She came to us from the Standards Division and has taken over the
Processing Assistant position, previously held by Tinesha McNeil. Nikki started in the
middle of license renewal season and has already been doing a great job.
License/Certification Renewals
All license and card renewal forms, received by our Division, have been processed. Licenses and
cards are required to be renewed by June 30th every year.
Renewal forms are sometimes returned and marked as undeliverable. Licensees and certified
applicators are required to notify the Division of address changes within 10 days. In addition to
address changes, some renewals may get lost in the mail.
If you have not renewed your license, certified applicator, or registered technician cards, you
should contact the Division immediately. Licensees who fail to renew, and continue to work after
the expiration date of their license, are in violation of the Structural Pest Control Law. If your
license is placed on inactive status, you must still renew each year, and maintain your
recertification status, by taking the appropriate number of CCU's. Licensees on inactive status are
not sent a license certificate, but will receive a letter indicating that the license has been renewed.
The last date that licenses and certified applicator cards can be renewed, without having to take
the exam again, is December 31st.
If you do not receive a letter, after renewal of an inactive license, you should contact the
Division, well before December 31st, to ensure that the renewal has been processed.
