They Made Good Elsewhere
South Carolina and a partial list of Tennessee
are included in Mr. Murphy’s article this week
on North Carolinians who have gone to other
states and have made names for themselves in
diplomatic or political circles. More Tar Heels
evidently went to South Carolina and Tennessee
than any other two states, judging from Mr.
Murphy’s list. The rest of the Tennessee list,
together with those from other states, will be
published in next week’s issue.
