Wheiikas. With the view til promoting literary and social
intercourse among its members, and providing and furnish¬
ing suitable rooms for the courteous entertainment of visi¬
tors to the city of Wilmington, there has for some years past
existed in said city an organized association known as the
Cape Fear Club," and to enable said association mere fully
to carry info execution its commendable purposes and secure
in permanent perpetuity so praiseworthy an institution. its-
incmbers desire a corporate existence.
