IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS-
The North Carolina Legislature is back in session for the "short session."
Several bills are before the Legislature which if passed will impact funeral
service: H660 (Amend Funeral Procession Law), H808 (Merge NCBFS and
Cemetery Commission), H811 (Amend Practice of Funeral Service Laws) and
S403 (Investments/Cemeteries/Funeral Funds), along with others which
would impact cemeteries and columbaria. Interested parties may follow
these and other bills at http://www.ncleg.net/ and click on
"Legislation/Bills."
The NC Board of Funeral Service congratulates the Fayetteville Technical
Community College Funeral Service Education Class of 2014 upon their
commencement on May 16, 2014.
