MIKE EASLEY CONCERNING HIS CALL FOR AN SBI INVESTIGATION INTO THE SWANNANOA VALLEY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER “Today, I am calling for an SBI investigation into the Swannanoa Valley Youth Development Center. Department of Juvenile Justice Secretary George Sweat and I believe an SBI investigation is the best way to find out what is going on in this facility. We can not solve the problems there if we do not know what they are. An SBI investigation is the best way to legally access the materials. The Attorney General can determine what documents can legally be turned over to the District Attorney.” Gov.
