Mike Easley has reappointed Laura N. Raynor of Raleigh and Carole S. Roebuck of Elizabeth City to the North Carolina Museum of History Associates Inc. board of directors. Raynor is the director of external affairs for the Carolina Ballet. She has been a board member since 2001. Raynor has served on the board of directors for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and currently serves on the alumnae council board for St. Mary’s College. She is also a member of the Junior League of Raleigh. Raynor received her associate’s degree from St. Mary’s School. Roebuck has been a board member since 1994. She is a former elementary school teacher for Elizabeth City and Pasquotank public schools. She currently serves on the advisory council of education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the parent council at UNC Chapel Hill and is vice-chair of the School Foundation Board at Pasquotank-Elizabeth City. Roebuck graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in education. The board supports the N.C. Museum of History. There are four members on the board, each serving a three-year tenn.
