cess to all the public records of this State, ami shall be permitted af their

An act to incorporate the Trustees of die Knjesvillc Academy in the county of Wake.
Be it aui'feil by the General Assembly of the Stale of Aiorth Carolina,
eitid it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, Thai William Roles,
W.ilum Jeffrey-, Wo'ley IIurHlield, IJiyun Green, John I.igon, Matthew
Stnrkl.inJ, Willi.vn Alston, John L. Tyrrcl and Benjamin Marriott be
known and distinguished by the name of the Trustees of Rolesville Academy
in the count) of Wake, and by that name shall have perpetual succession,
and they or their successors shall be able and capable in law, to take, have
and receive, possess, enjoy and demand any property real or personal, and
any moneys or other things that shall he given for said school, and the same
’o apply according to the will of (he donor; io take, have, possess ami enjoy
to them and their successors forever, any land.*, tenements of what kind or
nature soever, in special confidence, that (lie same or the profits thereof,
shall be applied to ami for tbe purpose wf establishing said academy.
11. And be it further enacted. That tbe trustees aforesaid, shall have full
power and authority to make such bye laws and regulations as they may
think proper for the guud government of said academy, not inconsistent with
the laws of the State.
