Perdue, Bev. Executive Order No. 139: Notice of Termination of States of Emergency Declared by Executive Order No. 129 and Executive Order No. 131

BEVERLY EAVES PERDUE GOVERNOR EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 139 NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF STATES OF EMERGENCY DECLARED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 129 AND EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 131 WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 129 and Executive Order No. 131 declaring states of emergency in portions of the State of North Carolina were issued by me on October 26, 2012, and October 29, 2012, respectively, as a result of Hurricane Sandy; and WHEREAS, the conditions that required the declaration of the states of emergency have ended. NOW, THEREFORE, by the power vested in me as Governor by the Constitution and laws of North Carolina, IT IS ORDERED: Pursuant to N.C.G.S § 166 A- 19.20(c), the states of emergency that were declared by Executive Order No. 129 and Executive Order No. 131 are hereby terminated effective Friday, December 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto signed my name and affixed the Great Seal of the State of North Carolina at the Capitol in the City of Raleigh, this 21st day of December in the year of our Lord two thousand and twelve, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-seventh.
