WEATHER SUMMARY
JULY 2009: Lower than average temperatures
were reported throughout the month of July.
Precipitation the first week was limited, but
increased as the month progressed, with all regions
receiving scattered rain and thunderstorms. Soil
moisture levels increased and, as of July 26, were
reported at 11% very short, 31% short, 54%
adequate and 4% surplus. Activities during the
month included cutting hay, harvesting potatoes
and peaches, and tending livestock.
