EASLEY REAPPOINTS FARLEY AND JENKINS TO JUVENILE JUSTICE PLANNING COMMITTEE RALEIGH - Gov. Mike Easley has reappointed Timothy Farley of Mount Airy and Robin Jenkins of Fayetteville to the Juvenile Justice Planning Committee of the Governor’s Crime Commission. Farley is superintendent of Mount Airy City Schools. He is a member of the Rotary Club and the Knights of Columbus. Farley received his Bachelor’s degree in German from Wake Forest University, his Master’s degree in German from UNC at Chapel Hill and his Doctorate in education from Nova Southeastern. Jenkins is executive director of Cumberland County CommuniCare, Inc. He is the national chair of the Coalition for Juvenile Justice. Jenkins received his Bachelor’s degree from N.C. State University, his Master’s degree in clinical psychology from East Carolina University and his postgraduate degree in psychology from N.C. State University. The committee advises the state advisory board on administering juvenile justice and delinquency prevention grants from the U.S. Department of Justice.
