The proposed project is the construction of a bridge to replace the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge in Dare
County, the demolition and removal of Bonner Bridge, and improvements to NC 12 between the
community of Rodanthe and Oregon Inlet. This EA identifies and assesses changes that have occurred
since the approval of the Final Environmental Impact Statement/Final Section 4(f) Evaluation on
September 17, 2008.
