Item 2035 - Last Mailing of This Newsletter
During the adoption of the budget for this fiscal year the members of
the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy decided to change the method
of distribution for this Newsletter from the United States Mail to an
electronic basis. Past Newsletters are now available on our Web site,
www.ncbon.org. Future issues will also be included at that location.
We will make arrangements for the electronic distribution of each
Newsletter four times a year: January, April, July, and October. In
order to accomplish this we will need to have your e-mail address.
Many pharmacists and technicians have already included this infor¬
mation on their renewals, but it is now even more important that we have
this piece of infonnation from each pharmacist and technician.
If you have not provided your e-mail address to the Board please
do so without delay.

The actions listed above were taken regarding: Dispensing Alb¬
uterol Syrup to an infant with incorrect directions; numerous viola¬
tions of pharmacy law committed by pharmacist while employed in
a pharmacy dispensing Tambocor™ 150 mg on a prescription refill for
Tambocor 100 mg; dispensing Lipitor with incorrect dosage instructions.

macists who qualify as having an active license to practice phar¬
macy for 50 or more years. Each licensee was contacted and gave
