Automated warrant issuance and
tracking repository that allows real¬
time, paperless issuance, service,
and tracking of warrants, orders for
arrest, magistrate orders, and criminal
summonses. Available 24 hours a day to
magistrates, district attorneys, judges,
clerks of court, law enforcement, and
probation officers.
NCAWARE accesses DOT
/
DMV driver's license
and vehicle registration systems to prepopulate
defendant and vehicle demographics. State Highway
Patrol systems are accessed to verify roads, officer
troop /district, and citation numbers. ACIS data
is used to automatically populate cases at their
inception. Via ACIS, NCAWARE sends charging
information to DMV, SBI, and DAC. Additionally,
NCAWARE receives the SID from SBI and transmits
offender images to CJLEADS daily through ACIS.

district and superior courts.

entry and printing of non-arrestable
eCitations from the officer's car. These
eCitations are automatically transmitted
to ACIS, eliminating duplicate data
entry by the clerks. Available to all law
enforcement at no cost, requiring only
that they have mobile computers and
printers in their cars.
Automatically transmits eCitation data to ACIS.
Provides downloadable eCitation data for local law
enforcement systems. Planned future interface with
NCAWARE for arrestable offenses.

Automation
System (DAS)
Provides electronic access to open
discovery of all evidence in felony cases
and tracks its disclosure to the defense.
Discovery is uploaded from law enforcement to
district attorney offices and then made available for
defense attorneys to download.
