The Vance-Granville
Community College Board
of Trustees held its regular
bimonthly meeting on Nov.
21. At that meeting, Ninth
District Court Judge Henry
Banks administered the oath
of office to a new trustee,
Danny W. Wright of Hen¬
derson. Wright, a former
Vance County commissioner
who owns a public account¬
ing firm in Henderson, was
appointed by Gov. Beverly
Perdue to complete the term
of retired educator Henrietta
H. Clark, also of Henderson.
Clark announced in June
that she would resign from
the Board after 18 years of
service. Wright’s term will
expire in 2013.

ing, Steve McGrady, Curtis
Tyndall and Blondelle Edg¬
