three children (Toney, Cato, Gideon) to satisfy a
court fine for their master John Price, late of

girl, Silvia, 4 years old. $100.00.
Deed of gift [lifetime], Jesse Perkins, Sr. of
Caswell County to daughter Rachel King, widow of
Caswell County, for mulatto slave girl Clary,
ca. 10 years old, and her increase. Clary and
increase to be equally divided on Rachel's death
between her three children Nancy, Sealy, and Samuel.
"Permission" to marry. William Ezell Sr. advises
Col. E. Peete that his slave James who wishes to
marry one of Peete' s slaves is "as well disposed
as common." No county given.
