EASLEY TO MEET WITH LOCAL OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS STORM DAMAGE RALEIGH - Gov. Mike Easley and Secretary of Crime Control & Public Safety Bryan Beatty will meet with local officials, Department of Transportation engineers and utility company representatives in Forsyth County today. Easley will be briefed on the status of storm damage and recovery efforts. The Governor will also hold a media availability at 2:15 p.m. today (Feb. 28) at the Forsyth County Fire Department, 3000 Aviation Drive, Winston-Salem. Directions to the Fire Department: Take U.S. 52 North and exit on Exit 111 -B to Liberty Street. At the first stop light, turn right onto Fairchild Drive and follow the signs to Aviation Drive.
