OTETER CRAFTS, AND FOR PROTECTING THE BUOYS, STAKES AND
BEACONS IN THE NAVIGATION OF THIS STATE.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted hij the General Assemhly of ^Ae No vessel to be

thority of the same, That no person shall fasten any vessel
or Other craft to any bridge, or so near thereto that such
vessel or other craft shall lloat against said bridge, on pain
of forfeiting twenty dollars if a vessel, and ten dollars if a
flat or smaller craft, one-half to the person warranting for
the same, and the other to the trustees for the use of the
county, which, in the case of a bridge that crosses a county
line, may be recovered in either county.
Sec 2. That any person mooring any vessel to any of the §50 penalty,
buoys, beacons or stakes, placed in the navigable w^aters of
this State by the " United States Light House Board," or
in any manner hanging on with a boat or vessel to any such
buoy, stake or beacon, in said waters, shall forfeit and pay
the sum of lifty dollars for every offence ; and any person
who shall wilfully remove, break, or otherwise damage any
such buoy, beacon or stake, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and in addition thereto shall forfeit and pay
the sum of one hundred dollars.
Sec. 3. The penalties enumerated in the second section of who to receive
this act shall be received by the superintendent of lights of pennines.
