Eesolutions.
When in force,
cause to be printed at once, and again next winter, and bi-ennially
thereafter, " A Manual of North Carolina," con-taining
the constitution of the United States, the constitu-tion
of North Carolina, with the names of all the Governors
and other executive officers of the State, Judges of the Su-preme
and Superior Courts, members and officers of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, with such other chrono-logical
and statistical information as he may deem useful.
Resolved further, That each publication shall cover one
thousand copies, to be distributed as follows : Four to each
Senator and Eepresentative, one to each officer of the two
Houses, one to each State officer, including Judges of the
Supreme and Superior Courts, one to the Governor of each
State, one to each Superior Court clerk for the use of their
offices, and there to remain, ten copies to the State Library,
and the residue to be equally distributed in the several
counties of the State to such parties as the said Secretary
may elect. Resolved further, That in no edition of said
" Manual " after the first shall any name be reprinted except
the names of those actually in office.
Sec. 2. This resolution shall be in full force after its rati
fication.

RESOLUTION IN FAVOR OF THE ENROLLING AND ENGROSSING
CLERKS.

When in force.
Section 1. Resolved by the Souse of Representatives, the
Senate concurring, That the enrolling and engrossing clerks
be and they are hereby entitled and are authorized to receive
the same pay for their services as the principal and assistant
clerks.
Sec 2. This resolution shall take effect from the first day
of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
Eatified this 11th day of February, A. D. 1874.
