at any time, the true state of the county debt under this
act may be seen ; for which service the clerk may receive
such reasonable compensation as may be fixed by the
board of commissioners.
STluxer"'''""" Sec. 4. The said bonds and coupons tliereon shall be
receivable in payment of county taxes for any fiscal year
in which they may fall due. The bonds and coupons
when returned to the board or the treasurer of the county,
whether received for taxes or in any other way paid off,
shall be canceled by the chairman of the board in tlic
jiresence of the board of commissioners.
K^^eeming of Sec. 5. The board of commissioners shall liave the
privilege of redeeming said bonds at anj^ time after the
expiration of one year ; and it shall be their duty to set
Si, Iking iniKi. apart annually a sinking fund sufficient to redeem one-tenth
of said bonds, and it shall be the duty of the county
treasurer to apply the funds so raised, under the direction
of the board of commissioners, annually to the redemp-tion
of said bonds.
Bond of treasurer Sec. G. 1 lic board of commissioners may, in their dis-cretion,
to protect the interests of the county, require the
county treasurer to give further and sufficient security or
renew his bond in a larger sum.
When to be in Seg. 7. This act shall take effect from and after its
ratification.
