CHAPTER III.

the Capitol, in thecity of Raleigh.
Be. it enacted by the Gcnernl AssamIdij of the State of North
Carolina, and it is herebii enacted by the authority of the same.
That the sum of fifty thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby Approprir.k'J,-
appropriated lor the rebuilding of the Capitol on Union Square, in 5U,000 dolls.

II. Am! he it further enacted. That William Boylan, Duncan

Saunders, be, and they arc hereby appointed commissioners, to con-tract
for the erection ofthe said building, and shall take bond fic-n
the undertakers for the performance of the contract.

extension of length and height, as may be deemed necessary for the Ciiiiol.
