2008 Annual Report of the Legislative Ethics Committee Pursuant to G. S. 120- 1 03.1 ( n), the Legislative Ethics Committee must publish annual statistics on complaints filed with or considered by the Committee. By rule, the Legislative Ethics Committee has defined the annual reporting period as the preceding twelve months ending on November 30"' of each year. This report contains information from December 1,2007 through November 30,2008. In addition to the statutorily required report, the Legislative Ethics Committee is releasing statistics on additional activities of the Committee during this reporting period. The attached chart contains this information. As cochairs of the Legislative Ethics Committee, we are pleased to report the progress North Carolina has made in the area of ethics reform.
