2013 Agricultural Chemical Use Estimates May 28, 2014 CHEMICAL USE SURVEY - In the fall of 2013, the North Carolina Field Office of the National Agricultural Statistics Service collected data on chemical use and pest management practices for peanut growers. This data is part of a series of chemical use which was last conducted in 2004. North Carolina participated in the peanut chemical usage survey along with six other states. The survey provides data to develop an agricultural chemical use database that is timely, detailed, and reliable.
