dread day of pain when to thy blest abode away thou fleddest with the morning's ray thy pure and touching loveliness in heaven's sweet air shines none the less and eyes where life had ceased to be are bright with immortality it is thy hand which dries my tears and calms my spirit's anxious fears ; thy voice doth whisper in mine ear " pray thou in secret god will hear and e'en in sleep thou dost
