General Branch
My regiment was ordered to the right of the road leading towards the enemy by Genl. AP hill in person to deploy as skirmishers and drive away those of the enemy. As soon as I had formed line in the road a brigade advanced from the right in my front + I could accomplish nothing. I am still in the road with the 7th Va. please tell me what I must do.
