I, John C. Parker, of Franklin, Virginia, do hereby certify that on
Saturday, October 30, 1965 in Franklin, Virginia I examined a family Bible
owned and possessed by Dr. Beaman Story of that City; that said Bible showed
it was published by H. & E. Phinney, Cooperstown (New York) 1828; that in the
four consecutive pages of said Bible marked at the top of each in printing
"Family Record" appearing between the end of the Old Testament and the begin-
ning of the New Testament, the pages not bearing any printed numerals, I found
in handwriting the following entries, which are here entered in the order in
which they appear in said Bible, and are here entered in the exact capitali-
zation, spelling and punctuation of the originals:

February 1825
John Beaman - Son of Cullen & Huldeth (spelling
uncertain) Beaman was born on 24th February 1798.
May Beaman daughter of Edmund Cotton & Milly his
wife was born on 24th Dec.m 1801.
Nathaniel Williamson son of Mathias Williamson &
May his wife, was born on 10th Oct. 1819.
Edmund son of Mathias Williamson & May his wife
was born on 10th Oct. 1822.
May Ann Daughter of John Beaman & May, his wife,
was born on 28th November 1825
William Patrick son of John Beaman & May his wife,
was born on 25th Dec.mb 1827.
Joseph Thomas Son of John Beaman & Mary his wife,
was born on 26th Feby 1830.
George Munroe son of John Beaman & Mary his wife was
born on 10th Feb. 1833.
John Cullen son of John Beaman & Mary his wife was
Born on 26th Sept. 1835
John Wesley Beaman - Son of John Beaman and Mary his
wife, was born the 4th May 1838.
Martha M Daughter of John Beaman & Mary his wife was
born on 10th January A D 1841
