This appears to have been ona page from a book, probably a Bible, and it is in a beautiful handwriting, the same all the way through. (Eula has it - both Ashbee and Midgett has several spellings.)
Chronology of offsprings of Abel and Mary Ashbee:
Abel Ashby son of Solomon Ashby and Elizabeth his wife was born on the 20th day of March 1747-
Marye Midget daughter of Samuel and Agelien Midget his Wife was born on 19th day of December 1752.
Abel Ashby and Marye his Wife were Married on the 6th day of September Anno Domi 1773-
Sarah Ashby daughter of Abel and Mary Ashby his Wife was born on the 24th day of July .1774.
Samuel Ashby son of Abel and Mary Ashby his Wife was born on the 18th day of October 1775-(notice on original this date is marked over in another handwriting 1796.)
Elizabeth Ashby daughter of Abel and Mary Ashby his Wife was born on the 11th day of March 1778.
The following might be the same handwriting, but note the difference in spelling. This was on a separate piece of paper and the letters below are for the months, I presume.
Choronology of the Ages and Issue of Abel Ashbee (Son of Solomon Ashbee and Elizabeth his Spouse) who was born the 20th day of March 1747, and Mary Midyett said Abel Ashbee's Spouse who was born 19th day of December 1752.
The said Abel Ashbee and his Spouse Mary Ashbee were Married on the 9th day of September 1773.

ABEL ASHBEE'S Will is dated April 1803. It is not recorded in Currituck County Court House. The original will is now in the possession of Eula Griffin Bibb of Greensboro, N.C. Abel named wife Mary; daughter Sarah Cavender, wife of Joseph Cavender; son Samuel; son Solomon and (his wife Elizabeth); daughter Elizabeth Jarvis; son William; son Abel; daughter Affee,
(When I reminded Eula that according to recorded history Abel Ashbee did not write a will, she said she would have it recorded in Currituck County before she loaned the papers to U. of N.C.)
MARY ASHBEE'S Will is in Boole 2, p. 354, Currituck Court House. The page is so badly torn I couldn't read all, not sure, of the date recorded, the tenth day of January 1810 or 1812.
She gave son William Ashbee schooner "Virginia"; son Solomon 1/2 of something--; son-in-law Samuel Jarvis; son-in-law James Etheridge; Pemlico Austin, daughter of Sarah Austin; son Samuel's heirs Abel and Washington Ashbee; Daughter Polly Baum; and daughter Sally Cavender. Son Solomon Exr.

SALLY CAVENDER Will May 8, 1815. She left "all my property toBrother Solomon Ashbee to take care of my child Joseph Cavender On one have anything to do with my beloved baby Jo Cavender except Solomon Ashbee and his wife Elizabeth Ashbee. "
